I wish you a professional success, career growth and prosperity. Always remember that University of Dubai and it’s Alumni Association is the place where you can approach for new ideas, thoughts, plans, and knowledge, as well as, share your professional experience with the current UD students.

Invitation for UDAA Board Nomination 2018-2019
UD Alumni who want to contribute in a meaningful way to the UDAA, have an opportunity to apply to become a member of its Board of Directors. The Board plays an exciting role in the future of the UDAA through its mission to support the university programs and students and connect Alumni. As we strive to build the Alumni Network, we are always looking for leaders who can help us to achieve this mission.
With the start of the Academic Year 2018/2019, we are opening the chance for our alumni who would like to join the Alumni Board.
The strongest candidates for the Board are individuals who:
- Want to share their expertise and talents to advance the goals of the Alumni Association.
- Are able to invest their time and efforts in UD Alumni Association’s future to benefit all
Alumni and Students.
- Attend UDAA events and to engage alumni, staff and others to attend.
- Have volunteered with the Alumni Association.
- Are willing to support UD Alumni Funds Raising activities.
- Are connected with other alumni and/or can otherwise influence involvement with UD.
In the selection process, the committee will consider the above points as well as the overall make-up of the board, including a balanced representation from a wide demographic of Alumni. Letters of recommendation from fellow alumni and/or faculty are appreciated. Note that individuals not meeting all of the preferred criteria may still be considered as strong candidates.

Celebrating the UD's 15th Graduation Ceremony and 1st Batch of Ph.D. - April 22nd, 2018
In presence of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation and President of the UAE National Olympic Committee, the University of Dubai (UD) held its 15th Graduation Ceremony in Grand Hyatt Hotel, Dubai on April 22nd, 2018 to celebrate the success of more than 130 UD graduates; “Batch of Zayed 2018.”
TThe ceremony was inaugurated with Graduation March followed by the National Anthem of the United Arab Emirates. Mr. Majid Hamad Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Dubai, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees, alumni, and members of the University's Board of Trustees. “Since it was established in 1997, UD has graduated more than 1700 students, and today the university is witnessing the graduation of the first batch of its doctoral students,” he said. 10th Anniversary Celebration of UDAA - April 28th, 2018 - St. Regis Hotel
Under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed Maktoum Juma Al Maktoum, UDAA President, the university, in collaboration with its Alumni Association organized the largest alumni’s event of the year, the celebration of the 10th Years Anniversary of the Association. Our Key note speaker for the event was H.E. Abdulla Al Basti, the Secretary-General of the Executive Council of Dubai, being one of the prominent UD alumnus and attended by Dr. M. Omar Hefni , former President University of Dubai.
The UDAA has marked 10 years Anniversary last March 2017. Since its establishment in 2007, the Association has played a key role in enhancing the relationship between the Alumni and the University creating meaningful programs that are making utmost contribution to the economic, social, cultural and spiritual life of each and every UD stakeholder. Ms. Amina El Marzak completed 15 years at University of Dubai
Known for her dedication and loyalty to the University of Dubai (UD), Ms. Amina El Marzak, Director of Student Services and Alumni Affairs (SAA), celebrated her 15 years of service to UD with her colleagues last May. A “Thank You Cake” ceremony was held by the SAA and Marketing Department to honor and celebrate Ms. Amina’s contribution toward advancing UD’s mission on all fronts including, but not limited, to serve students and alumni. Amina's colleagues presented her a portrait as a token of appreciation for her 15 years of ongoing success at UD. Ms. Amina’s role for the last 15 years was essential in ensuring a unique and comfortable student-life experience at UD and promoting the fine achievements of many successful UD alumni.
